| Wear It Purple at Parkes |
| The last Friday in August is Wear it Purple Day, which has a simple message -- everybody has the right to be proud of who they are. Wear it Purple strives to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for LGBTIQA+ people everywhere. Events were held across S&A sites to celebrate the day, with the morning tea at the Parkes Observatory featuring some delicious cupcakes. (Image credit: Tricia Trim) |
