CSIRO Space & Astronomy Radio School |
The
CSIRO Space and Astronomy Radio School is being held this
week at the Paul Wild Observatory near Narrabri, the site of the
Australia Telescope Compact Array, on Gomeroi Country.
There are forty in-person participants and an additional forty
people who have joined on-line for the lectures. (The tutorial
sessions, which included a tour of an ATCA antenna, were not
able to be offered for remote participants.)
The image above is from Monday, with Rick Perley (NRAO)
starting "at the beginning", with his lecture on the fundamentals
of radio interferometry.
As Monday Oct 2nd is a public holiday in NSW, the next ADAP will be Tuesday Oct 3rd.
