A Chinese New Year greeting card, celebrating Year of the Dragon.
Happy Lunar New Year!
The Lunar New Year was celebrated on Saturday, February 10th. In Eastern Asia, Lunar New Year begins on the date of the second new Moon after the December solstice. In practice, this means that the Lunar New Year can fall between January 21 and February 20. In the Chinese 12-year calendar cycle, 2024 is the year of the dragon, as depicted in the ACAMAR (Australia--China Consortium for Astrophysical Research) card above.
