The
CSIRO
Space & Astronomy Undergraduate Vacation Scholarship Program is
designed to provide students with the opportunity to work on
a research project under the supervision of a
CSIRO Space & Astronomy staff
member. Scholarships are for 10 weeks from late November to early
February, with students this time based in Sydney, Perth, Parkes, and Canberra.
A highlight of the program is the chance
to travel to the Australia Telescope Compact Array
and carry out their own observing program. The trip also
provides the opportunity to see the inner workings of an ATCA antenna!
