Who doesn’t know the marvellous actors in the famous movie “The Dish” , starring our 64-m Parkes Telescope ? Actor Roy Billing, the “unofficial Mayor of Parkes” was honored with the OAM on Australia Day as noted in the Parkes Champion Post .
