Puppis A is the remnant of a supernova explosion which occurred several thousand years ago and now appears as a shell of ~1 deg diameter. This composite picture displays the radio continuum emission (red) obtained by combining Parkes and broadband ATCA observations, with a visible light (green) background from the Digital Sky Survey. The multi-spectral capabilities of the Compact Array Broadband Backend (CABB) made it possible to perform an exhaustive spectral study, recently published by Reynoso & Walsh (2015, MNRAS, in press) .
