A great photo of four 12-m ASKAP antennas. Here antenna 4 is getting a second-generation Phased-Array Feed. The right most ASKAP antenna is part of the Boolardy Engineering Test Array (BETA), which consists of 6 x 12-m ASKAP dishes with first-generation PAFs. The full ASKAP interferometer will have 36 PAF-equipped dishes, delivering great sensitivity, good resolution and an amazing 30 square degrees field of view.
The Wajarri-Yamatji name of ASKAP antenna 4 is Bimba (= Edible gum)
