This is an early ASKAP image of the calibrator PKS 0407-658 from the most recent commissioning run. Four second-generation Phased-Array Feeds (PAFs) were used and a single beam was formed for this test. We are not far off forming all 36 beams to start wide-field imaging, where each field would be around 30 square degrees. The data were calibrated using PKS 1934-638 instead of self-calibration.
