The WALLABY team during a break at the Early Science workshop, where ASKAP field selection for the first upcoming science observations was a top priority. Our focus is on nearby galaxy groups and clusters, aiming to study HI galaxy properties as a function environment. In each 30 sq degr field (redshift z < 0.25) we expect to detect ~500 galaxies in the HI spectral line.
