ASKAP dishes, some with Phased Array Feeds (PAFs), undergoing testing (photo from 21 Oct 2012). The first-generation PAFs (green chequerboard) and the Boolardy Engineering Telescope Array (BETA) are now superceded by second-generation PAFs. Twelve of the latter are installed and many more on the production line.
