Prototype rocket Phased-Array Feed (PAF) designed and build by CSIRO Astronomy and Space Science. A larger version of this amazing wide-field receiver would make an excellent replacement for the 21-cm multibeam receiver on CSIRO’s 64-m Parkes Dish , which was used to conduct many outstanding HI and pulsar surveys.
