The other day it was reported that a new world record for the highest basketball shot had just been set by an Australian trio, with one of them shooting the ball from a height of 180m on the top of the Mauvoisin Dam in Switzerland through the net on the ground below. The three guys, who call themselves How Ridiculous , have previously visited Parkes and the video of their shots on that occasion — impressive if not actually record-breaking — are available on youtube .
