The last phased array feed (PAF) to complete ASKAP-30 rolled off the production line, was packed into a container and headed off on its journey to the Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory (MRO). Completion of ASKAP-30 marks the end of the core federally funded construction project: building the MRO itself, ASKAP’s antennas, the first generation PAFs used in ASKAP’s test array, BETA, and the 30 second generation PAFs, along with all their digital systems.
