Last month a team from the Breakthough Listen Initiative visited Parkes to complete the final installation of their equipment. Observatory staff were able to provide a Flag of Earth for the team. The flag, designed by James Cadle, a farmer from Illinois, is popular amongst SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) researchers.
