Inside the focus cabin of the 64-m Parkes telescope installation of the ultra-wide-band receiver is continuing – thanks to our excellent engineers. The receiver is of a novel design providing a band from ~700 MHz to ~4 GHz. First tests indicate a system temperature of ~22 K over most of the band.
