The Mopra 22m radio telescope is located near Coonabarabran and the Siding Spring Observatory. Although no longer offered as a National Facility telescope, the telescope continues to be used by a consortium of institutions led by the University of Adelaide. This view of the sub-reflector of the (Cassegrain optics) telescope is part of an interactive panorama — complete with the sounds of the telescope — taken by Balt Indermühle. The black patches on the subreflector were used for a series of photogrammetry measurements to measure the dish and subreflector surface accuracies.
