The Louise Webster Prize is awarded annually by the Astronomical Society of Australia in recognition of outstanding research by a scientist early in their post-doctoral career. The Prize is awarded on the basis of the scientific impact of a single research paper, which has the recipient as first author. The 2019 Prize was awarded to Shivani Bhandari for the paper “The Survey for Pulsars and Extragalactic Radio Bursts – II. New FRB discoveries and their follow-up” which was published in Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society in 2018.
