The @CanberraDSN X (formerly twitter) feed recently posted the image above, which shows a horizon to horizon view of the 70m Deep Space Station 43 antenna (at top) communicating with NASA’s Voyager-1 spacecraft and (at bottom) antennas DSS-34 and DSS-35 in touch with Voyager-2. The tweet included the fitting quotation “There was no up. There was no down. There was no side to side” which comes from a poem about the big bang by Elle Cordova (aka Reina del Cid).
