The ATNF Postgraduate Student Symposium took place yesterday, being held in conjunction with the Australia Telescope User Committee open meeting, which is being held today. The Symposium was in person at Marsfield and Kensington, with an online participation also possible. This was a student-led symposium, with students involved in organisation and planning, chairing sessions, and on-the-day support. The presentations showcased the wide variety of science being undertaken by the ATNF co-supervised students, which range from tracking satellites in Earth orbit to galaxies at high redshift and cosmological studies; observations, modelling, simulation, and inference; new advances in established fields, and contributions to new fields of study.
