Yesterday’s ADAP showed a full moon over the ATCA in April 2007 during a four-week shutdown of the array. Today’s image was also taken then, though a little earlier in the day before the moon had risen. The photo was taken from antenna CA05, looking east at the other four main-track antennas, which has been moved close together for the shutdown period. Although the paintwork on one of the panels in the foreground is showing some wear and tear, this fortunately has no affect on the ability of the antenna to reflect radio waves!
