The 2026 Asia-Pacific Region IAU Meeting (APRIM) is being held this week in Hong Kong. APRIM features nine thematic tracks reflecting the latest scientific priorities and regional interests. These are Astronomy public outreach and education; Galaxies, AGN and the high redshift Universe; High energy astrophysics; Gravitational wave astronomy: Radio, millimetre and sub-millimetre astronomy; Astronomical surveys and time domain astronomy; Upcoming astronomical facilities; and Space sustainability. The program includes a session dedicated to the SKA, and a number of talks from ATNF staff and about ATNF telescopes, including presentations on the capability of ATNF telescopes, the Murriyang cryoPAF, ASKAP survey science, a new approach to imaging VLBI data, and preparations for the Australia-wide eclipse of July 2028.
