The 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting of the Astronomical Society of Australia included an ATNF Town Hall on the first day, and an SKAO Town Hall event on the Tuesday. Jimi Green, SKA-Low Head of Science Operations, and George Heald, SKA-Low Lead Commissioning Scientist, gave updates on construction and commissioning at the SKA-Low and SKA-Mid sites, together with planning for the next Array Assembly milestones and telescope operations, and looking ahead to preparing for the first science verification observations.
