The Australia Telescope National Facility is seeking a highly-motivated electronics technician to work at the Parkes Observatory, home of the 64-metre Parkes Telescope. This role involves work in Microwave-RF and general electronics areas utilizing both analogue and digital techniques.
The appointee will be part of a small team responsible for the operational support and maintenance of the Observatory’s range of cryogenically-cooled ultra low noise Microwave receiver systems which currently span bands from 400MHz to 23GHz.
