Astronomer and engineer Dr Keith Bannister was honoured in the nation’s top science awards for 2021. He received the Malcolm McIntosh Prize for Physical Scientist of the Year in the Prime Minister’s Prizes for Science for his research into the phenomenon of fast radio bursts.
