The ASKAP and Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) telescopes at the Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory in Western Australian have taken a coordinated approach to look for mysterious fast radio bursts (FRBs). While ASKAP detected several FRBs, the MWA – which scans the sky at lower frequencies – did not see anything, even though it was pointed at the same area of sky at the same time.
