2015 Bolton and Student Symposium
by James Allison (CASS)
This year CSIRO Astronomy & Space Science (CASS) is holding a joint Bolton and Student Symposium. The symposium is intended for researchers to showcase the excellent science being carried out with astronomical facilities available throughout Australia and further afield. All members of the astronomical research community are welcome to attend and submit presentations.

The format for the 2015 symposium will be different from those in the past. Each speaker will be given 3 minutes (+2 for Q&A) to present their research in a single slide. The motivation behind this change is to encourage people to pitch their research with a single, "big picture" message, and hope that those attending will see the fantastic range of research being carried out with Australia's world class telescopes. We expect the whole meeting will take less than a day, with opportunity for conversations over breaks and a lunch.
