The 2025 SKAO General Science Meeting, A new era in astrophysics: Preparing for early science with the SKAO, was held from June 16th to 20th in Görlitz, Germany, and on-line. There was greater interest in in-person attendance than the organisers had anticipated, requiring adjustments to venue arrangements in the lead-up to the meeting. Around 500 people traveled to Görlitz for the meeting, with roughly one tenth of those being from Australia. The photo above is slightly larger than the delegation from Australia, as it also includes a number of Australians currently working overseas.
