| 2016 Bolton and Student Symposium |
| CSIRO Astronomy & Space Science invites the
astronomical research community to attend and submit presentations for this
year's joint Bolton and
Student Symposium, held on the 22nd of November 2016. The symposium is
intended for researchers to showcase the excellent science being carried out
with astronomical facilities available throughout Australia and further
afield. Registration and abstract submission deadline: 1st October 2016. The format for the 2016 symposium will be the same as last year. Each speaker will be given 3 minutes (+2 for Q&A) to present their research in a single slide. The motivation behind this change is to encourage people to pitch their research with a single, "big picture" message, and hope that those attending will see the fantastic range of research being carried out with Australia's world class telescopes.
