| SKA Engineering Meeting |

Last week the annual SKA Engineering meeting was held in Rotterdam.
With over 300 registered participants, the meeting brought together members
of the 12 consortia working on various elements of the telescope design
from around the world, to review progress and discuss future plans.
The picture above shows Carole Jackson, newly appointed
General and Scientific Director of ASTRON, one of the host institutions,
given her opening remarks to the meeting.
