When Galaxies Collide (by Lisa Harvey-Smith)
Today sees the launch of Lisa Harvey-Smith's book, When Galaxies Collide (Melbourne University Publishing). Prof. Brian Cox described it as "A fascinating and inspiring tour of the galaxies, illuminated by vivid and often humorous accounts of the day-to-day life of an astronomer". When Galaxies Collide describes our human connections to the night sky and the transformational events that will overtake the Milky Way over the next 5 billion years. It is written for a general audience and will be launched in Sydney with a talk and signing at the Powerhouse Museum on August 10th. All are welcome!

When Galaxies Collide is available from all major online booksellers, in book shops and signed copies can be ordered online here (or you can bail Lisa up in the corridor to autograph your copy!).
