The June edition of the ATNF News was published late last month. It included updates on Murriyang gear refurbishment, ATCA BIGCAT commissioning, tips on keeping observing proposals anonymous, and a story on the new Sydney ferry named after radioastronomy pioneer Ruby Payne-Scott. There were also pieces on recent science highlights — the first x-ray detection of a long-period radio transient, and work by ATNF postdoc Jay Kumar on a new understanding of the shape of our galaxy.
