Participants at the All-sky Radio Transient Monitor workshop held at Marsfield, and on-line, on Monday 4 August 2025.

The image above shows the participants at the one-day workshop held earlier this week to explore the scientific opportunities and technical priorities for a proposed all-sky radio transient monitor. The goal of this workshop was to discuss and refine radio transient science cases that would benefit from continuous, all-sky monitoring, including fast radio bursts, rapid timescale transients, pulsar timing, stellar and exoplanet radio bursts, and long-period radio transients. The meeting was well attended and presentations generated a lot of discussion about the opportunities and options for progressing this field.
