Season’s Greetings

December 19, 2025
CSIRO Season's Greetings card, 2025, featuring Murriyang, the Parkes radio-telescope

This year marks 25 years since the release of the movie “The Dish.” The film is loosely based on the role Murriyang, the Parkes radio telescope, along with NASA’s antenna at Honeysuckle Creek, played in receiving video footage of the first Moon walk. A lot of the film is based on fact, but there were a number of embellishments for dramatic effect. Season’s Greetings to all ADAP readers.

This is the last ADAP for 2025. ADAPs will resume on Monday January 5th.
