CSIRO Astronomy and Space Science (CASS) staff are attending the 225th meeting
of the American Astronomical Society (AAS) in Seattle this week. The meeting
welcomes around 3000 astronomers, over 1900 talks and posters, and 9 plenary
talks. In addition to an exhibition booth showcasing the ATNF telescopes,
CSIRO will also be involved in an splinter session run by the SKA Organisation
on Wednesday (Jan 7) that will focus on the science capabilities and computing
challenges of the SKA. If you're attending the meeting, drop by booth 219 and
talk to our representatives, or join us for the SKA splinter session. You can
also follow along the meeting on Twitter with #aas225.
