| The 21-cm multibeam receiver at the Parkes
64-m telescope was used to carry out the
HI Parkes
All Sky Survey (HIPASS), the HI survey of the Zone of Avoidance (HIZOA) as
well as 21-cm pulsar surveys of the Galactic Plane, The picture above shows
cryogenics engineer Pat Sykes with the 13 horns of the 21-cm multibeam receiver
frontend.
