| OzGrav, or more formally the ARC Centre of Excellence for Gravitational Wave Discovery, was officially opened last month by the Minister for Education and Training, Simon Birmingham. As part of the event, OzGrav Director Matthew Bailes used immersive virtual reality to stand between two orbiting neutron stars -- fortunately, not being subjected to their gravitational forces! |
