The Conversation is an
independent source of news and views, sourced from the academic and
research community and endeavouring to provide independent,
high-quality, authenticated, and explanatory journalism in order to
allow for better understanding of current affairs and complex issues.
Two articles have appeared in the Conversation in recent weeks, both
describing recent advances in our understanding of Fast Radio Bursts.
The first
followed the publication by Shannon et al. of
20 FRBs discovered with ASKAP.
The second
followed the identification by Mahony et al.
of a possible counterpart to the closest FRB to date.
