Seeing in the New Year at the ATCA
The Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) saw in the New Year with clear skies, as evidenced by the sky camera image above (complete with timestamp at bottom left). The constellation of Orion is visible high in the northern sky. (And if you're puzzled as to why East and West appear to be reversed, it's because the camera is looking up into the sky and not down onto a map.)
