Chenoa has joined us from International Centre for Radio Astronomy
Research - Curtin University after completing her PhD thesis on The
Study of Spectral Lines at Low Frequency with the Murchison Widefield
Array. She will be working as a post-doctoral fellow on searches for
a simple carbyne (CH) molecule in star-forming regions to study the
dynamics of diffuse and dense gas with the Australian SKA Pathfinder
telescope (ASKAP). Her research interests include chemistry, radio
astronomy, and the connection between laboratory science and
observational astronomy.
Chenoa is pictured above at Cerro Calán - Observatorio Astronómico Nacional — in Santiago, Chile.
