Sydney's annual
VIVID
festival has been
featured in previous ADAPs, in
2015,
2017, and
2018. This years festival includes the piece above, titled
KA3323, by artists K & A Electronics: Kris Feizi Sobbi and Anthony
Feizi Sobbi, with collaborators Jonathan Hribar, Annie Faizi Sobby,
and Daniel Wong. The artists' description is "KA3323 is a
retro-futuristic contraption that has mysteriously landed in the
Botanic Gardens. KA3323 takes the form of an interactive satellite
dish overgrown with alien plant matter and reacts to the sounds of
space. Audiences are invited to engage with the contraption to
discover its origins and purpose."
