| Abstract: Joe McMullin is the Deputy Director General and Programme Director for the SKA Organisation. In this role he is responsible for the design and construction of both SKA telescopes. Joe will talk about the SKA design process to date, the challenges still remaining, and the steps SKA is taking towards construction. SKA Low is expected to start construction in early 2021, with CSIRO taking roles in infrastructure, integration, signal processing and computing. |
