| Parkes Open Days |
| The Parkes Observatory held Open Days to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moonwalk over the weekend of 20-21 July 2019, with similar events also held at the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex (CDSCC) at Tidbinbilla, and at the Honeysuckle Creek tracking station site. Ideal weather over the weekend contributed to record numbers attending the events, with the weekend capped off by a picturesque sunset. |
