Seasons Greetings
Parts of the invisible Universe have been captured by Wajarri artist Margaret Whitehurst and by researchers using the ASKAP radio telescope. It all centres around the Rapid ASKAP Continuum Survey (RACS): a scan of the southern sky with this new and incredibly sensitive telescope. A newly-released RACS catalogue of key objects, and Margaret’s painting, are unique maps that capture our experiences of the Universe. Margaret is a Wajarri artist, and the Wajarri Yamatji are the traditional owners of the Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory site where ASKAP is located.

This is the last ADAP for this year, with the first ADAP for next year on Tuesday January 4th. With best wishes for the festive season to all our readers!
