The International Astronomical Union General Assembly
is currently underway in Busan, South Korea.
Gwangan Bridge, or Diamond Bridge, a 7km long suspension bridge
that was opened in 2003, is one of the city's landmarks, and
it was used to display a message of welcome to IAU participants
last weekend.
In full, the message read "Celebrating the 31st IAU GA. Astronomers from all
over the world welcome to Busan."
The IAU GA concludes today, with the next General Assembly to be
held in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2024.
