| ATCA antennas framed |
| A previous ADAP has described the the data transmission system of the old Culgoora Radioheliograph, which consisted of 96 13-m diameter dishes spaced around a circle of 3km diameter. A system of open-wire copper transmission lines was used to take signals from all 96 antennas back to the central control building. The copper wire is long gone, but the posts framing the ATCA antennas above remain. |
