CSIRO recognises the efforts of its staff at an annual Ceremony,
with awards presented in a number of categories.
Among them,
the Medal for Support Excellence recognises teams or individuals who support, through
projects, initiatives or service delivery, the creation of value for
our customers through innovation that delivers positive impact for
Australia.
This year, the Medal for Support Excellence was awarded
to Space and Astronomy's Lawrence Toomey
"For significantly improving how users access data collected using
Murriyang, our Parkes radio telescope, leading to many key science
results with the telescope since 2013."
