The URSI General Assembly and Scientific Symposium (URSI GASS),
has been held every three years since 1919 and is
organized by the International Union of Radio Science (URSI). It aims
to review current research trends, present new results and
discoveries, and make plans for the future research and special
projects in all areas of radio science, especially where international
cooperation is desirable.
URSI GASS 2023
will be held in Sapporo, Japan from August 19 to 26.
URSI is organised in
10 scientific commissions, with
Commission J: Radio Astronomy being particularly relevant
for CSIRO Space and Astronomy delegates at the meeting.
