| Clouds approaching CDSCC |
| Windy weather in the ACT region resulted in this bank of cloud approaching the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex from the southwest. The CDSCC's biggest antenna, the 70m diameter Deep Space Station (DSS) 43 is in the centre of the image. The dome in the foreground houses a small telescope being used to monitor cloud cover over the station, building a database for potential future optical communications with spacecraft.
