Parkes Observatory tracking Odysseus
CSIRO is part of Intuitive Machines' Lunar Data Network which is seeing Murriyang, our Parkes radio telescope, being used to support Intuitive Machines' first lunar mission. Odysseus, the lunar lander, touched down last Friday, with subsequent telemetry indicating the lander ended up on its side. The prime mission is expected to last about a week, before the lander moves into the 14 day lunar night, and Murriyang is scheduled to be a downlink station each day until then.
