On Monday, 23 January, Max and Aidan were driving as many antennas as possible, observing a calibration field to check if everything is working. Nearly 30 antennas are now equipped with wide-field Phased-Array Feeds (PAFs) – delivering a field of view of 30 sq degr – and the ASKAP-16 array was recently used for first test observations.
